Sometimes the cause of vocal difficulties isn't bad technique or something physical like allergies or GERD, it's emotions. Read about that in my newest post.

I've been learning and singing the alto harmony part for Helplessly Hoping, Take it Easy, Imagine, and a bunch of other great songs. We still need to add the soprano, tenor, and bass singers--we're hoping to add ten new songs to the app by the summer. Meanwhile, our developers are still hard at work on an android version of the Sing Harmonies App, which will include all the same songs as the iPhone/iPad version.

I had a blast giving an introductory voice lesson to everyone at the Berkeley Breakfast Club last month. I wasn't sure if everyone would participate since this group includes members of all ages and from every walk of life-- but they all stood up and made funny sounds when I asked them to, and they sounded great on the final song. At 8AM. What a fun way to start a visit to my home town.

I'm on the Expertise.com 2017 list of the twelve best vocal coaches in Nashville. I know several of the coaches on the list and I'm honored to be among them!

This last week I’ve Skyped singing lessons with singers in Knoxville, New York City, Buenos Aires, and on the other side of Nashville. Skype does have it’s limits. but I’ve worked out some very tricky technical problems and some pretty subtle delivery issues with singers who are far away. Plus, my dogs love it because they can be in my teaching room while I’m Skypeing. More info here
